I figured I ought to update since I hadn't touched this journal since, last christmas I think (and because all friends are still asleep at the moment and I'm bored lol.) So nothing much has changed but with Jay gone I find myself taking weekend trips to Bellevue. It's almost like before. Despite work and hanging out on a regular basis, I'm still able to crank out a few drawings when I feel the particular creative spark. I'm a little more determined to learn how to use my sister's art program to color pics on the comp. It's hard though when she gets the creative bug herself. meh. So for now I'll stick with copics. I've met a lot of good frien

I know I keep my updates far and few between, but I don't really ever expect anyone to read it. I was just looking at the last time I updated this thing and that was when....I was still in Iraq. Feels great to say that I'm not there anymore. I'm back state side and living in my own place. I've actually started collage so that's a big thing for me. Looking at it now, I am pretty amazed that people can juggle school and work, or maybe I haven't gotten into the ebb and flow of things. I can't wait till I take some art classes. I hope to take painting and a few digital art classes in the near future. My youngest sister who joined the Air Force i

Long time no update. Good reason for that though as this place must have the crappiest connection. But I suppose I should be thankful for any connection really. I don't use my lap top as much as I used to because the internet here isn't wireless. That's fine though. I've been busy with other things like work and training and such. No days off as I work weekends only being granted the grace of getting into work late or getting off early. I really miss the free time that only a weekend that entailed a day off or two could bring. I haven't drawn as much but I'm starting to get back into that. I really hate my job, and I don't think I'm particul

Wow. I want to post something on here (in order to lure you into looking at my crappy drawings), but I can't think of anything to post. I guess this will have to do...
Aussie!

You have a boomerang, now all you need is an evil koala and a didgeridoo!
Already got the koala, unfortunately my skills with the boomerang leave a lot to be desired as I've found! As for the didgeridoo, I don't even know how to play one lol! Is it like a vuvuzela?
Cool! (I wish I had a koala...or a drop bear)
Boomerangs make no sense, whatsoever. I could only kind of throw it right. XD

I have no idea how to play a vuvuzela...but you play a didgeridoo similarly to how you play a tuba: with very loose lips. lol
No kidding! I threw the crap out of that boomerang and it only sorta came back three times. Some guy came to show me how it's done and it didn't even really come back to him either. He said: Throw it like you're aiming to kill a kangaroo or something. So I did and I killed the ground a lot.

I'll keep that in mind when ever I get my hands on a didgeridoo. I sucked at the Vuvuzela but maybe I'll have better luck with the didgeridoo.
